I couldn’t think of a better place to spend my 40th — relaxed, beautiful, and made for lingering over long lunches and late dinners. Mallorca checked every box.
We’ll stay together in the countryside near Campos, with days built around the villa, beaches, wineries, charming towns, a little shopping in Palma, and one or two livelier beach-club afternoons.
The plan is intentionally relaxed: enough to make the week feel special, with plenty of space to unwind.
Mallorca can feel like several destinations in one—mountain villages, glamorous ports, and a peaceful countryside of farms, beaches, wineries, and small towns.

A traditional Mallorcan country estate just outside Campos, surrounded by gardens and open land. The villa gives us privacy, room to spread out, and an easy base for the beaches and towns of southern Mallorca.

A surprisingly easy trip from the New York area, with a nonstop option straight to the island.
United flies nonstop from Newark to Palma on select days. For our dates, the seasonal schedule includes Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday departures through September 28. The overnight flight is about 8 hours and lands in Mallorca the following morning.
Cash fares can be pricey, so it’s worth checking United miles and transferable credit-card points before booking. Award availability can make the trip much more reasonable.
Fly into Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI). The villa is approximately 33 km from the airport.
Ma-6031, 07630, Illes Balears, Spain. The villa is just outside Campos in southern Mallorca.
Rental cars or prearranged drivers will make it easiest to move between the villa, beaches, Palma, wineries, and dinner reservations.
